Interview Rosemarie

Rosemarie Lambers works as Recruitment Lead and Account Manager within the PsyGlobal team. Her team is responsible for creating connections between mental health professionals and Dutch mental health institutions, general practitioner practices, municipalities, and public health services (GGDs).

PsyGlobal carefully recruits and screens all mental health professionals who apply to join us. In this process, we consider, among other things:

  • degrees, additional training, background, and experience

  • whether and at what level degrees have been recognized in the Netherlands

Based on this screening and the needs of both our clients and professionals, we enable valuable and sustainable connections, with the aim of giving as many people as possible access to care that truly matches their language, cultural background, and frame of reference.

PsyGlobal webinars 2026

This Wednesday, we started a new series of online webinars for Ukrainian mental health professionals, hosted by CBT therapist, supervisor, and trainer Valentyna Parobii. During these 3 sessions, we will focus on practical psychological skills for daily clinical practice. The webinars will be in Ukrainian and are free of charge.

▪️ Mindfulness
Date: 14 January | Time: 19:00–21:00
A practice of awareness and presence in the here and now to reduce stress and enhance resilience. The webinar offers practical mindfulness techniques that can be applied both personally and professionally. We will also focus on how to engage clients in this practice and set realistic expectations to prevent dropouts.

▪️ Building Vicious and Supportive Cycles
Date: 6 February | Time: 11:00–13:00
The webinar focuses on identifying and maintaining cycles using a cognitive-behavioral framework based on core CBT principles. Participants will learn how to conceptualize difficulties in a structured CBT format, allowing them to identify accurate therapeutic targets for intervention planning and, consequently, achieve therapy goals more effectively.

▪️ Cognitive Distortions
Date: 23 March | Time: 19:00–21:00
The webinar focuses on working with cognitive distortions within the cognitive-behavioral therapy framework. Participants will learn how to identify, conceptualize, and modify distorted thinking patterns that maintain emotional distress and maladaptive behavior, enabling more effective interventions and improved therapeutic outcomes.

Wrap up 2025

PsyGlobal Results 2025

In the first (work) week of 2026, we would like to take a moment to look back on the year behind us. 2025 was a positive year for PsyGlobal, during which we were once again able to connect many mental health professionals from diverse backgrounds to Dutch organizations. We matched over 100 professionals with Dutch organizations, helping 42 Ukrainian professionals find positions in mental health institutions, general practitioner practices, municipalities, shelters, and public health services (GGDs). In addition to Ukrainian professionals, we also helped 13 professionals of other nationalities secure positions in the Netherlands this year, including Turkish-, Farsi-, Arabic-, Polish-, and Spanish-speaking psychologists.

But we did more than that:

👉 We received accreditation from the VGCt voor onze 100-urige Engelstalige CBT basic course. for our 100-hour English-language CBT basic course. This training started in early December, led by Thomas Kramer.
We completed the first fully European-accredited English-language EMDR training in the Netherlands in February, in collaboration with Mindsync EMDR Training
We organized a CBT Fundamentals training, two trainings on the use of DSM-5, and two trainings on positive psychology.
Finally, in collaboration with Radboud en Wageningen in’to Languages, we organized a 16-week intensive Dutch language course for nearly 60 Ukrainian professionals, with a focus on language in the psychological field.

👉 Our database has now crossed the milestone of 1,000 mental health professionals, and we continue to receive daily applications from professionals from all over the world.

👉 In October, we organized the networking event “Strengthening the Chain” at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, where we, together with representatives from Dutch organizations, explored how to further strengthen the care chain for Ukrainian displaced persons with mental health issues.
And in November, we held our first event for all non-Dutch-speaking mental health professionals, engaging with over 100 participants about the challenges—and especially the opportunities—in the Dutch mental health field.

In the coming year, we will continue working tirelessly on our mission to guide even more talent toward positions where they can provide care to clients who share their language and cultural background. With plenty of vacancies and an even broader training offer, this is definitely going to happen. Here’s to many more milestones in 2026!
