As a basic psychologist, you will provide compassionate mental health support in your language of expertise (Modern Standard Arabic). Responsibilities include conducting intake sessions and ongoing counseling, identifying client needs and goals, and delivering structured, evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual. You will maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, monitor client progress, and adjust support plans accordingly.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s and master’s degree in Psychology
• WO-psychologist with a diploma recognized in the Netherlands. If the degree was obtained outside of the Netherlands, a credential evaluation (diplomawaardering) from Nuffic or IDW is required.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic)
• Availability for at least 16 hours per week
• Demonstrated experience working with Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic)-speaking clients and understanding of Moroccan cultural nuances in mental health care.
• Proven work experience in diagnostics and treatment.
• Preferably experience within mental health care (GGZ) or a similar clinical setting as a psychologist.
