Cognitive Distortions (in Ukrainian)

The webinar focuses on working with cognitive distortions within the cognitive-behavioral therapy framework. Participants will learn how to identify, conceptualize, and modify distorted thinking patterns that maintain emotional distress and maladaptive behavior, enabling more effective interventions and improved therapeutic outcomes.

About the trainer: 
Valentyna Parobii isa highly experienced CBT therapist, supervisor, and trainer at the Ukrainian Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (UICBT). She served as the President of the Ukrainian Association of CBT (UACBT) from 2019 to 2023 and currently represents Ukraine in the European Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT). With over two decades of clinical and training experience, Valentyna has contributed significantly to the development of CBT education and ethical standards in Ukraine. Since relocating to The Hague in 2022, she has been providing psychological support to Ukrainian refugees, helping them overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression. Valentyna has been involved in several CBT educational projects in the Netherlands since 2023.

Building Vicious and Supportive Cycles (in Ukrainian)

This webinar focuses on identifying maintaining cycles using a cognitive-behavioral framework based on core CBT principles. Participants will learn how to conceptualize difficulties in a structured CBT format, allowing them to identify accurate therapeutic targets for intervention planning and, consequently, achieve therapy goals more effectively.

Mindfulness (in Ukrainian)

A practice of awareness and presence in the here and now to reduce stress and enhance resilience. The webinar offers practical mindfulness techniques that can be applied both personally and professionally. Last but not least, we will focus on how to engage clients in this practice and set realistic expectations to prevent dropouts.
