Our partner is committed to providing mental health care to anyone in need, regardless of their cultural background or ethnicity. They offer psychological and psychiatric assistance through (video) calls. Their focus lies in providing treatment for PTSD and addiction helping individuals overcome their struggles and achieve a better quality of life. The goal is to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can receive the support and care they need.

As a basic psychologist, you will provide compassionate mental health support in your language of expertise (Ukrainian, Arabic, or Syrian). Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy sessions.

Job requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, validated in the Netherlands
  • Valid license to practice in the Netherlands
  • Fluency in English and either Ukrainian, Arabic, or Syrian, depending on the role
  • Availability for at least 24 hours per week
  • Demonstrated experience working with Ukrainian/Arabic/Syrian-speaking clients and understanding of Ukrainian/Arabic/Syrian cultural nuances in mental health care.
  • Proven work experience in diagnostics and treatment.
  • Preferably experience within mental health care (GGZ) or a similar clinical setting as a psychologist.
